5K OTG at the Emily B Taylor Greenway

The big 5K to benefit local charities was on October 13th...

Twas a chilly morning but there was a great turnout.

Round Peak Vineyard's Howl-O-Wine event

Second Chance Animal Rescue of Surry County volunteers catered the event and the Soul Shine Band entertained the crowd. There was a contest for best costume, for man and beast!

Lauren and Christie...Lauren was Amy Winehouse and she won best Human costume.



The winners of the "human and dog" contest were the judges...that is just too funny!
