I want everyone to meet Cayden Talbert, he is a very special little boy. At 13 Bones ribs*steaks*seafood ,Saturday September 20, 2014, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and his wish grantors Leslie and Ted Aronovitz had a party for his wish to go to LegoLand at Disney World.Cayden has been battling “Evan’s Syndrome,” an autoimmune disease in which an individual’s antibodies attack their own red blood cells and platelets, since his heart transplant last year. As I sat down at Leon's for lunch yesterday, it was dreary, rainy day.  I suddenly noticed a very cheerful, friendly vibe coming from all who worked behind the counter...how refreshing! The Surry County Beekeepers Association held it's latest annual spring field day and certification on Saturday, April 14th, in Mount Airy. Randy and Angela Shur are well known for their pie shop on Mount Airy's Main Street, which opened last year. People come from miles around to purchase their delicious pies, custom cakes, and baked goods. Round Peak Vineyard is relocating their winery house!

Next time you head over to Round Peak Vineyards, their winery house, which used to be right next to the tasting room and patio area, will have been relocated! 
 

The Winery House, which is available to rent, was moved about 150 ft to the left of its old location, into a wooded area for more seclusion, but still with great views of the vineyards.
